Last year teams with players ranging in age from 11 to 40 participated at the Lasertron World Championships.

This year's World Championship event will take place near Buffalo, New York on August 4th-6th, 2006. The Amherst LASERTRON Interactive Entertainment Center will host many of the events. This location is the oldest continually operating laser tag facility in North America.

The remaining events will be hosted at Circle C Ranch in nearby Delevan. Circle C is a long-running Christian camp with many outdoor activities about one hour from LASERTRON in Amherst. In 2005, Circle C Ranch installed a new LASERTRON arena and LT-11 laser tag system.

The events at Circle C will include access to many of their popular outdoor activities including swimming and horseback riding. These activities can be enjoyed by laser tag player families and the players themselves when not actively playing.
