Zack
Barry AKA "Cyberwolf" also decided to leave the
team and start fresh. His new laser tag team, "Fortitude",
is comprised of players from MD as well as Lasertron
in Buffalo, New York and one player from Canada.
In
competitive Lasertron Laser Tag, Barry is ranked the #1 player
in the world.
One
might think that losing their #1 player and chief strategist
might make things difficult for Overpower. During the off-season
the laser tag team trained hard and made some key acquisitions.
Louis
Camp AKA "Scorpion" was one of their picks. Camp
is Veteran Photon Player and had trained all last year to
go the Lasertron World Championships, but had to pull out
at the last minute in 2005.
"We
thought it made sense" said Jamie Tsottles AKA "Nimrod".
Lou has played with us on the field for many years when we
played Photon. We said it was time to give him a shot.
The
Lasertron World Championships in 2006 required 7-man teams.
Team Overpower has always carried an alternate to rotate players
to keep them fresh and have a reserve if a player got injured.
