So
what were the results? In 2005 Overpower went undefeated and
won all 4 laser tag team events (Team Sport with Modes, Team
Adventure Recharge, Team Free-For-All, and the Quad Sport
format.)
In
2006 Overpower won the Team Adventure Recharge event- undefeated.
Won Team Free-For-All- undefeated. Won the Quad Sport- 2nd
in one game, 1st in all others. Team Sport with Modes was
where the laser tag team had a very small slip, but a costly
one.
Overpower
was undefeated in this event going into the finals. The laser
tag team "Top Gun" from Laser
Flash in Carmel Indiana had a slightly different strategy
than most. That shift caused Overpower's first loss of the
tournament and a 2nd place finish in the Team Sport with Modes
event.
All
and all, Overpower only lost one game in the Team Sport and
had one 2nd place finish in the finals of Quad Sport... not
too shabby! As they say "The more things change, the
more they stay the same!" :)
