Warrington Quasar will be making an attempt at an OFFICIAL WORLD RECORD!!! By playing 24 hours of quasar back to back we hope to set a new World Record for the longest quasar marathon ever completed…IN THE WORLD!!!

The event will take place at Warrington Quasar on Saturday 21st September 2013 and we are currently looking for individuals (over the age of 16) to take part. If you think you’ve got what it takes then keep reading…

To ensure that we have the best chance of successfully achieving a World Record, entrants will need to attend one of three, twelve-hour, practice sessions before the official event. Sixteen primary players and 24 substitute players will be selected from the practice sessions to participate in the official World Record attempt.

The 12-hour practice sessions for the World Record will be held on:

– Saturday 10th August 2013 from 8pm – 8am
– Saturday 24th August 2013 from 8pm – 8am
– Saturday 7th September 2013 from 8pm – 8am

The Official World Record attempt will be run from 4pm on Saturday 21st September to 4pm on Sunday 22nd September 2013. Players will be required to complete 24, 1 hour games in the given time period.

(A £10 deposit for all practice sessions will be required to secure your place).

To run the event, we are required to have the following voluntary team members…

– 12 independent witnesses (on four hour shift)
– 2 Stewards
