Zone Redzone Tournament

Still a slot or two open at the UltraZone Redzone tournament in Timonium, MD (near Baltimore/Towsend). We're sending a Storm team down to play it.

$40, Jan 9th, Overnight'er, 5-man and triples events. Looks like 7/10 teams have booked so far, and the entry date is due December 20th... Act fast if you want in (sorry for the late post -- we just got a Pit team together the other day, I didn't know about the due date until recently)

5-Man Comp.
5 players with 1 alternate allowed

Triples Comp.
3 players with no alternates allowed.

10 Teams is the maximum for this tournament due to time constraints.

Equipment Information
This tournament will be played on NexusFEC packs, with timing modifications seen at 2009 Nationals.
There are two neutral bases in the arena for all players to tag.
There will be a sentinel on the second floor of the arena.
There will be two mines on the lower level.

Registration Information
Registration deadline is December 20th, by Midnight.
All registrations submitted must have an attached team registration forum(attached at the end of this post.)
Payment by Paypal will require an extra $2 per player to cover all related fees.
Single registrations are accepted for free agents.
Team registrations are preferred.

After sending payment please send a confirmation email to mikecarnz@gmail.com with the attached registration forum.
Price is $40 per player. ($42 if using PayPal)

Event Information
General
Tournament will start at 12:15am.
Captains meeting(if necessary) will be at 11:45.
Tournament concludes at approximately 9am.
Once you arrive to redzone please check in with me, I will be in one of the party rooms with all the teams information/buttons/lanyards etc.

Triples teams will be due December 26th! Please PM or email them to me.

Grid Setup
To make this as fair as possible, I have assigned the grid spots 1 thru 10. Once you arrive at Redzone, your captain will draw a number which will determine your teams placement on the grid. This is to prevent anyone from thinking the grid was rigged for a team to have an easier run thru prelims.

5-man Competition
*8 Second Deactivations
*4 Second Stuns
*Friendly Fire Is On
*3 Shots to destroy Base
*4500 point base value
*-500 points for shot into base
*You can tag each base once, for a total of two bases per game.
*Denials are ON
* +250 points per shot on denials.
*Sentinel is worth 1000 points
*-250 points for every sentinel retaliation hit.

Arena Limits for 5-man Competition
-full arena is in play
-4 Teams Will Play Per Game(20 players total)

Triples Competition
*Same as 5-man competition EXCEPT:
-NO bases
-NO sentinel
-Bottom Floor ONLY
-5 Teams Will Play Per Game(15 players total)

There will be food/drinks available at Redzone, pizza can be ordered so bring extra cash if you are hungry!
